Gorgeous Growth Densifying Elixir Reviews

I picked up one of these on sale recently, to give it a go, being on sale i though was a good opportunity, i have used it everyday for a week and have noticed my hair looking quite thick and shiny as well as some of my thinning patchy spots starting to get extra hair, thicker hair growing , which is what i was after.

I do have fine, thin oily hair and find this is not oily but quite nourishing. If your after a product to thicken and stimulate hair growth, this is the one

I have a lot of baby hair (which I can be self conscious of, not so much anymore though) so after receiving this product for free from Priceline I was a little bit sceptical of how it would make my hair "denser, thicker and fuller"
I was actually surprised with this product, the packaging itself is quite cute and the product is really light in fragrance.
It comes with a pump and is only very small in amount, 50mls, but as you only need 2-3 pumps depending on hair length, a little will go a long way.

I used this for 4 weeks (2-3 times a week) and I definitely saw results. I had short hair (chin length) and used 2 pumps after shampooing and conditioning and found that my hair grew over an inch (I have Asian hair so it does grow by itself anyway :p)
But more importantly, my baby hairs finally started growing and aren't short and spikey!!
The formula isn't thick or sticky and if you only use as much as you need for your hair length (longer hair more product, shorter hair less product etc) your hair shouldn't feel oily or greasy.
Applying the product while hair is still damp allowed it to absorb and not leave any kind of residual feeling whatsoever.
I also follow up with some leave in conditioner (hask) and comb the product down to the ends just so it's even in my hair.

All in all, I love it. Was initially skeptical but very happy with the product, super stoked it was free and would definitely repurchase again.

I am suffering from postpartum hair loss and at the moment I am still in the hunt for products that would reduce my hair loss. I am currently using the Viviscal shampoo and conditioner and I will separately review these products later once I have formed an opinion.

In conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner, I have used a sample of the Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Densifying Elixir. I can quite quickly come to the conclusion that I do not really enjoy using it.

The Elixir is transparent and has a thin water-gel consistency. It feels slippery to touch, but upon massaging into damp hair, the product is quickly absorbed and "disappears". The smell of the product is a combination of botanical and chemical, which I do not mind, but I can see that some people may have an issue with the chemical scent.

Once the elixir is massaged into the hair and has dried, I feel that my hair is "roughened" up. My hair does not feel soft and smooth. It is also slightly "gritty" which would require extra care to brush the hair. I found that it is difficult to use a hair straightener afterwards. Without using the elixir, my hair would just glide between the iron plates. With the elixir, there is a lot more friction between my hair and the iron, and it makes me worry that more hair is going to fall out.

Usually, for hair loss treatment, the leave-in component targets the scalp to prevent further hair loss. However, the instruction to use this elixir is to disperse throughout damp hair (not targeting the scalp). This makes me think that any "densifying" or "volumising" effect would come from how it makes the hair looks, but not how much hair is retained. As such, it does not treat the root of the problem.

Due to my hair issue of obviously thinning hair esp along the hairline, where my side part is and on the top towards the back, I am always in perpectual search of the HG solution for hair loss control and thickening treatment. The Elixir comes in the same colour of magenta red and silver packaging for its shampoo and conditioner which I think looks posh. Its a fairly big bottle containing 50 ml of elixir with a pump spray. It may initially appear quite expensive( but remember its a hair loss treatment), but in the long run is really quite economical since i only need 1 pump to cover my short pixie style hair. It smells quite citrusy which is subtle and has a watery gel-like clear fluid. I have been using this regularly 3x a week once day for more than 3 months and finally, while I was dying my hair, I noticed that I had regrowths along my hairline and the bald patch I used to have (which I try to cover by restyling), Is no longer visible. It just appears thinned out but no longer bald! Im quite happy with these. I am repurchasing.

I have been using the Viviscal shampoo, conditioner, and the elixir for about 4 weeks as part of the BH trial team. The ‘Gorgeous Growth’ range promotes itself to be body boosting for thicker, fuller looking hair.
As I have fine hair, and that at the moment is in quite bad condition, after just have my hair coloured, I was excited to use this range.
I also trialled the shampoo and conditioner, which I liked overall, but not sure that it did much for hair growth or hair fall.
However I would definitely buy the Elixir again.
The product comes in a generous 50 mil pump action bottle. It is a semi-clear liquid with a citrus/fruity smell, unusual but not overpowering. The shampoo and conditioner have the same smell but a bit stronger.
I have shoulder length hair and only used about 2 small pumps which was enough to cover the ends and sides of my hair. It was very lightweight but still instantly conditioned and smoothed the damage.
I have tried it on wet and dry hair and does not leave any sticky residual, like other products I have tried.

I was so happy to trial the Viviscal Densifying range, as just a couple of weeks before this trial, my hairdresser had commented on how thin my hair was getting especially at the roots, so I was super excited to try this conditioner , to see if it could help make my hair appear thicker.
The elixir comes packaged in a clear plastic pump pack with a hot pink label, that is easy to dispense. The elixir itself is a clear gel like consistency with an amazing, albeit strong herbal/ botanical fragrance that left my hair feeling healthier and thicker and fuller with every use. I used this elixir (as well as the shampoo and conditioner) 3 times a week for a few weeks and can honestly say that I love how much healthier and thicker and fuller my hair looks. I will definitely keep using this elixir as I feel like i have more life, volume and bounce in my hair now.

I was really interested to try the Viviscal range as I had never heard of it before and I was fortunate enough to try it as part of he Beauty Heaven Trial Team.

I have been using this product for 3 weeks in combination with the Densifying Conditioner and Densifying Elixir. My hair is naturally fine, and can be limp, but since using this range my hair has become fuller, thicker and healthier looking.

The Elixir comes in a magenta 50ml pump container which is very easy to use. It has a refreshing perfume smell (which I like). It is clear and has a thin consistency which is easy to massage into to mid lengths to ends of the hair.

It can be applied to wet or dry hair; I applied to it wet hair and then either let my hair dry naturally or blow dried it. When left to dry naturally my hair looked a bit straw -like which I wasn't too keen on.

However in combination with the Shampoo and Conditioner, I think that the Elixir it has really strengthened my hair and made it look fuller and thicker, but not so weighed down.

In comparison with other salon serums I have used, I am not 100 per cent convinced that this one is for me, but am willing to continue trying it in combination with the other Viviscal products which I really do love.

I received the 3 Viviscal products to trial and was very excited as I've never heard of that brand before.

My hair has been lifeless and thinning in recent months and I've been looking for a suitable solution to reverse it.

The Densifying Elixir came in a handy pump bottle. It was to be applied to towel dry hair.

I'm not sure how much additional thickening it adds as I only ever used in combination with the Shampoo and Conditioner.

Overall, using the 3 products together worked to thicken my hair but it also made it feel quite dry and rough. I will probably not use these products again as I prefer a silky smooth finish.

Thanks to Beauty Heaven and Viviscal for allowing me to trial Gorgeous Growth Densifying Elixir along with the shampoo and conditioner. For reference I have fine, coloured, straight hair that can become limp. The shampoo and conditioner comes in a 250ml deep pink and silver tube, whilst the elixir is in a 50ml pump top plastic container.

The elixir has a gel like consistency with a botanical aroma. I applied 2 pumps to my hands and rubbed it through my damp freshly washed and conditioned hair. After 3 weeks of use I noticed my hair had a thicker texture - a bit like something was coating the strands. Fortunately it did not make my hair limp which I was worried about with using an elixir in my hair.

After 3 weeks of trialling all 3 products together I did notice a thicker feel to my hair and it felt less weighed down so I would recommend anyone with fine hair to give it a try to see what they think.
