My quick tips
As you may already know, I’m still pretty new to the beauty game, so I’m no expert.
But that’s not to say that I haven’t picked up a few tricks over the years. Sure, a lot of it was trial and error, but I got there in the end. Here are a couple of my shortcuts:
We all know that it takes a steady hand (and perhaps a manicurist) to make sure that your nail polish is painted solely on your nails and not on the skin around them. But in the event that you slip up, simply wait for your polish to dry, then jump in the shower. The combo of hot water and soap washes that excess dried polish right off. And no one’s any the wiser.
DIY fringe upkeep
If you’re anything like me and just don’t have the time to head to a hairdresser every time your fringe needs a trim, simply DIY (and not with the kitchen scissors!). Instead, use Manicare Nail Scissors Straight, holding the scissors almost vertical to snip away the ends, only a little bit at a time.
A squeaky clean face
A few years ago, I learnt that a lot of my breakouts were actually a result of not rinsing off my face wash properly. So now, after cleansing with my Neutrogena Deep Clean® Cream Cleanser, I wet a washcloth to wipe off the cleanser and then do one final rinse for good measure.
