Honey, I'm just popping out to the supermarket
We all love a no-nonsense, quick and easy hair ‘do – so why not try one of these utterly subtle styles, straight from the catwalks of the recent Hair Expo, the next time you head out to do a spot of shopping?
This fairy floss-esque ensemble was created by hair designer extraordinaire, India Miller, of Scotland’s Charlie Miller Hair. Made out of real hair, dyed in a variety of lollypop pinks, apricots, purples and gold, this elaborate ‘do took India no less than three weeks to create.
Guest artist for the Matrix Global Design Team, Darek Wierzbicki, stood out as the couturier of coiffures with this intricate style. Believe it or not, all elements of this ‘do are made out of real hair – including the hat-like top part, and the entire button detailing too.
Goth-yet-glam was the order of the day for former Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Caterina DiBiase. The net holding the over-sized buns in place are woven out of hair extensions, some of which are left to cascade down the model’s shoulders.
What do you think of these couture-like hair styles?
