Beautyheaven does Fashion Week
Fashion Week is over (well, for us at least!) and I for one couldn’t be happier as I’m definitely all high-heeled and air-kissed out (plus I’ve used up the few ‘trendy’ outfits I have).
So, in celebration of the fact that I can finally feel my feet again, and to bring together some of the latest looks from the runways, we thought we’d have a bit of fun with both the weird and wonderful hair and make-up styles that stood out this past week…
Deb does Alice McCall
“The vibrant colours looked amazing on the runway, but it’s not something I’d dare to wear in reality! I did love the long lashes though and would probably attempt them on a night out.”
Liv does Bec & Bridge
“I felt a little bit like a gold tin-man with my completely glittered face, but I also loved the luminosity it brought to my face when it caught the light! I’m not sure I suit the muted brow and lip look, but it was a fun change! As for the hair – well, the gallon of baby powder look isn’t exactly practical, especially when it ages me a good 40 years!”
Carli does Camilla
“I don’t really wear eye shadow – especially not that much, and in such bright colours – so I felt a bit like a clown! It looked really powerful and dramatic on the catwalk though, so maybe if it was toned down a bit it could work for real life too.”
Nat does Alex Perry
“I really like this look and although it is a bit over-the-top I would try a simpler version for a night out with the girls. I love the silver colour on the inner eye and the big hair!”
