My last three hair dryers have been VS Sassoon ones, and if I had to buy another one, I wouldn't bother even LOOKING at any other brand.

The fire engine red Venezia 2400 AC Professional Dryer came in my Blogstar prize box - it was the item that I was most looking forward to, and it has lived up to all my expectations, and then some. I can dry my hair almost as well as my stylist with this baby, and in record time too. I've only tried the one small concentrator nozzle, but hey I don't need anything else to get a slick and sleek finish to my naturally frizzy hair, and it's all done and dusted in 10 minutes.

All my VS Sassoon hairdryers have been great, but this is the finest of them all - a million thank you's beautyheaven!

I was fortunate to win this in my Glosscars prize, just when my old dryer was dying out on me and started giving off burning smells.

The best part about this hair dryer is the cool setting, which is great when you want a blast of cool air in the summer and also to seal your hair cuticle with the cool air anytime of the year.

This hair dryer comes with a diffuser and also a focus nozzle so you can blast heat or cool air directly where you want it.

Nowadays, I towel dry my hair and then use the lower heat and power setting to dry my hair and I don't brush or comb my hair while I dry it. I used to brush my hair straight as I was drying it with the dryer, but hair can be damaged easily when wet, so I comb it nearly dry now.
And then when its almost dry, I just brush thru it and I have fantastic loose waves, woo hoo!!!
And best part is that I don't use my straightener so often nowadays.

VS Sassoon Venezia Professional Dryer has a massive 2400 watts of power. Although powerful, this hair dryer is quite compact. It boasts ionic conditioning technology and ceramic tourmaline technology. Static is reduced, leaving the hair silky and shiny. There are three heat and two speed settings and a cold shot to set the hair. Two concentrator nozzles and a diffuser are included, along with a stylish velvet look bag.
What I first noticed when I excitedly opened the box and pulled out the hair dryer, was just how comfortable it sat in my hand. It is compact and is not too heavy. The narrow barrel makes for even distribution of weight, adding to ease of use.
The cord is a decent length, no need for an extension lead.
I like how the buttons are easy to access during use. The top button controls heat, 2 heat settings and a cool shot button. I like that you don't have a cool button that needs to be held down to operate. The second button controls power. Every blow drying need is covered and controlled at the flick of a switch.
I rarely use a hair dryer because I just don't have the time, thanks to how long my hair generally takes to dry. With this hair dryer, my tresses were dry in no time!
After trialling various methods, my preferred way of using this device was to dry my hair until only just damp, then pop on the diffuser. I flip my hair over my head, and scrunch as I blow dry, creating voluminous waves. I really like this look, particularly during the warmer months. It creates that beach waves look that I've always wanted to have, but found my hair was just to limp and lifeless..Not anymore!! :)
Not only can I achieve volume, I can do it without frizz! This is a first for me, as with other hair dryers, I've always experienced unwanted frizz. I have found that I don't even need product after use.
I must say that I am impressed! At a RRP of $142.95, it may seem steep, however, it is worth every cent!! Blow drying hair is quick and effortless. Styling is a breeze. Now the Venezia Professional Dryer is a hair dryer that will not be hiding in the cupboard, unlike the others that I have purchased!! :)

I so needed this hair dryer! I was lucky enough to win this in this year's Glosscars and it really came at the perfect time - my old cheapie dryer was just not cutting it. This is really a state of the art machine - powerful and effective. It really dries my hair fast! It also comes with a diffuser and two different sized nozzles which is really nifty.

It really feels like a salon quality hairdryer with lots of nice features. It has three heat settings - cold, warm and hot and tow different speeds too and a nice long cord that doesn't easily get twisted. Mine is sexy black though the red looks nice too.

It seems to be gentler on hair too somehow and my hair looks a bit silkier after using this machine.

A couple of things to watch - the placement of the buttons is basically where you grip the dryer so you do have to be careful that you don't change speed and heat settings accidentally. It also is a big hairdryer and the weight may take a little getting used to at first if you're used to a small travel dryer (that would be me). These really are just minor points though - overall this is really awesome.

The VS Sassoon Venezia professional hair dryer could not have arrived on my doorstep at a better time. The trusty hair dryer I had been using for the past 2 years had stopped working for over a month, and I had not gotten around to searching for a new one. The hair dryer package includes the body of the dryer, two different sized nozzles, with choice of either a 75mm or 90mm attachment, a volumizing diffuser, a clear instruction manual, and a handy black pouch to store the dryer, perfect for travelling.

The first thing that really impressed me with this dryer was how lightweight and small it was! This was really useful because it made it so much easier to handle when trying to style the hair and holding a styling brush. It has a very sleek, black design with an easy to grip handle, a long power cord, and even a hanging loop for ease of storage, adding to the convenience of this dryer.

When I first used this dryer on my damp hair, I was impressed with the power that it had considering it is relatively small in size. The dryer has 2400 watts of power which is very impressive, and I put this down to why I am able to dry and style my hair in record time! I have naturally thick, wavy (and at times unruly) hair so for this dryer to be able to dry my hair in less than 10 minutes, it is just short of a miracle. I enjoyed the choice of having two speed settings and two heat settings to choose between, usually opting for the higher speed when I was in a rush in the mornings before work. With the high heat and high speed setting on, I am able to completely dry and style my hair in under 10 minutes now which is an absolute dream. I love that this dryer has a cold shot button which really helps to lock in my hair style and to seal the tips of my hair, preventing flyaways.

What sets this hair dryer apart for me is that it has iconic conditioning technology. What does this do differently? It leaves my hair noticeably less frizzy, less static, and shinier. I could not be happier with the overall result of my hair after a styling session. It also has ceramic technology which helps to evenly distribute the heat of the dryer, helping to penetrate the hair evenly. A final bonus of this hair dryer is that it has a removable rear filter for easy cleaning and maintenance which most hair dryers on the market do not have.

On a final note, I do not use the diffuser on a daily basis, but on the weekends when I am trying to limit the heat styling on my hair, I will scrunch up parts of my hair into the diffuser for a few minutes only to be left with natural looking curls with lots of volume. The size of this dryer makes it perfect for every day use, and perfect for styling. I think I have found my perfect hair dryer!

This hair dryer is the most superior dryer I've ever used. I have fine, curly hair which can be hard work to style but now I've found the VS Venezia my worries are over! I use my favourite VS brush and combine it with the powerful 2400 watts to build volume and smoothness for a really polished finish.

I bought this dryer some weeks back and just LOVE it! It has cut my drying time down by half! Its perfect for long, thick hair! So powerful yet so compact and light - definitely worth the extra dollars - its by far the best dryer i have ever used! Thanks VS!

Thanks to Bh I have the luxury of the best hairdryer I've ever had in my life.
Everything about this product is top of its game and they have put thought into this product.
It came in a small little carry bag which is handy to take wherever you go, and the power of this hairdryer is unbelieveable it delivers high speeds without damaging your hair and cuts my time down, its not as noisy so a machine of this size with the power I give it a thumbs up !

I have long, wavy and thick hair and have been through a number of hairdryers over the previous years. In fact, my last hairdryer was the same wattage as this VS Venezia one that BH sent to me to trial.

So what was my experience of using this hairdryer? I received the red hairdryer and really liked the packaging as it looked very elegant and also contained a silky pouch for the additonal attachments. First comment is WOW, it cut my 'drying' time down by at least half. Secondly, my hair was not frizzy at all with minimal product used. Thirdly, the unit is smaller and lighter that my previous one even though it was the same wattage. This is a very powerful hairdryer for anyone who has thick hair that needs some serious drying power.

I initially thought the price range was steep however have changed my mind about it. Weighing up all the factors, I now think the price is worth it if you are looking for a hiardryer that is efficient and has the right ionic technology to cut down the frizz factor.

In summary, I would recommend buying it as it has lived up to it's name....:-)
