Top 10 most time-consuming beauty chores

While some aspects of beauty are fun, there’s a whole slew of beauty chores we wish didn’t exist. And as much as we’d much rather be spending precious downtime taking a relaxing bubble bath, opting out of shaving our legs, washing our hair, tanning and plucking sadly just isn’t an option. In fact, according to a UK study, us women dedicate around two months of our lives to the beauty tasks we hate! Talk about commitment!

RELATED: The habits of a beauty junkie
Shaving legs: 72 days in a lifetime
That’s approximately four minutes six times a week or 21 hours a year devoted to regular defuzzing. This also comes in as the number one most hated beauty chore. Not. Surprised.
Hairstyling: 294 days in a lifetime
17 percent of us spend around 16 minutes a day styling our locks. Yikes. That adds up!
Plucking eyebrows: 30 days in a lifetime
The eye-watering routine takes up to 11 hours of our precious time each year.
Removing make-up: 52 days in a lifetime
A frightening six percent of British women say they refuse to remove it (pretend you didn’t hear that!) while 68 percent begrudgingly take it off daily. Ladies, let’s get that stat up! Pretty please.
Applying fake tan: 12 days a lifetime
What? You mean you don’t like standing around half nude covered in fake tan in the middle of winter? Weird.
Dyeing hair: 23 days a lifetime
That is the definition of commitment. But that glossy, salon-fresh colour is so damn good.
Body moisturising: 44 days a lifetime
Scales or soft, supple skin? You’ve decided (and we couldn’t be prouder).
Painting nails: 20 days a lifetime
Does anyone remember this scene from The Fifth Element? If only.
Exfoliating: 20 days a lifetime
When you think about it, 20 days’ worth of scrubbing away dead skin cells doesn’t seem so bad. It’s almost as great as running out of loo paper.
Getting pedicures: 11 days a lifetime
So long as there are massage chairs involved, I’m all for it.

IPL is fantastic, it means less shaving time so who wouldn't be happy with that!
Vaseline Spray Moisturiser looks excellent!
I could do with some quick dry nail spray and I would be lost without my tanning glove.
