How to boost your hair colour
Our hair always looks super healthy and glossy after a colour, but that salon-fresh finish never lasts long. So what do you do when your colour is fading, but your next appointment is still a couple of weeks away? Answer: Use the John Frieda Colour Refreshing Gloss to tide you over.
The Colour Refreshing Gloss is available in six different shades to bring back lost colour pigments in unique warm and cool hair tones, and a Toner suitable for neturalising brassiness to brighten blonde hair.
No matter how you colour your hair (in-salon or at home) or what brand you use, this nifty gloss will revitalise your colour.
Watch bh's Deb and bh's Sam show you how to refresh your colour and get the gloss back.

Step 1:
Shampoo and condition your hair, then squeeze out any excess water.
Step 2:
Dispense a quarter-sized amount of John Frieda Colour Refreshing Gloss into your hands and spread from your roots to ends.
Repeat the process 3-5 times to ensure the mid-lengths and ends are evenly saturated with product.
Step 3:
Thoroughly wash your hands of any excess product, and leave the gloss on for at least 3 minutes. Then, rinse and style your hair as usual.

The results in the photos look subtle. I presume that they are more noticeable in real life.

I have natural red hair and the grey is taking over, I colour and within a week or two I get regrowth and fade, tried this and still the same. I dont over wash my hair (everything third day or more as I have been unwell and Have MS). Is getting frustrating as I dont have the energy to redo it all the time.

I've always thought these a waste of time as hair dye is as quick as 10 mins these days, hmm maybe I will try and be surprised?

honestly it didn't do much to my hair ...the gel doesn't make it easy to apply , you tend to drop most of it on the floor

Sounds interesting. If it leaves your hair conditioned like a colour does then I would definitely try it.

I currently use a 'purple' shampoo for toning my hair between salon visits. Can't live without it. This one is definately on my to try list as the results look excellent and hair shinier than what I'm getting from my current toning shampoo

This is definitely on my must try product list. I've used other products from John Frieda and never been disappointed, so that's a big plus too.
