Eva Longoria covered her grey hair at home and the results are incredible

Most of us feel uncomfortable going for a coffee with friends if we've got bad roots, let alone revealing our greys to 7.8 million Instagram followers. But that's exactly what Eva Longoria did.

Eva's Instagram account has been a great source of COVID-19 entertainment, sharing Desperate Housewives reunions and workout vids. And this week, she blessed us with a video of the most impressive root touch-up job we've seen so far.
“Look at all this grey. That is crazy!” Eva starts the one minute video, as she inspects her roots.

The product she uses to cover them up? None other than L'Oreal Magic Root Cover Up - a Glosscar winner from 2017.
Eva previously revealed to BAZAAR US, “I’ve had a full head of grey hair, since I was like, 18.” But, being stuck in quarantine has meant she's unable to get to the hairdressers as frequently as she usually does. And instead of risking a DIY dye job, Eva just uses the 'little nozzle' of the spray to target her regrowth.
“The other thing I love is that it doesn’t get on my skin when I have makeup on. It doesn’t get on my hands”.
This is certainly put to the test as she bravely undergoes this entire operation wearing a white shirt and no towel or gloves!

Yes, ok we know what you're thinking - this sounds like a textbook spiel from a brand ambadassador. BUT as you watch the video, which is over in about a minute, her greys literall disappear. It's hypnotising.
The post impressed celeb pals like Olivia Munn who chimed in with “This stuff is amazing!! Your hair line still looks natural too!” and Serena Williams agreeing that this "is a must-have".
You can watch the entire thing via Eva's IGTV, here.

I tend to need all-over coverage and there are some great brands out there. I love Clairol's Nice n Easy because it gives me great coverage, a natural colour, and lasts quite a while.

L'Oreal does make some really good products unless they have changed the formula I wouldn't recommend L'Oreal Magic Root Cover Up because I found that it stained my pillow cases.
When I used to try and cover-up grey roots, until I finally decided to just let my natural hair colour come through.
