These high school pictures of a teenager with alopecia have gone viral

An American teenager has seen her high school photos go viral after she embraced her alopecia by drawing beautiful designs across her head.

The seventeen-year-old student, Madisyn Babcock, had only recently developed the hair loss condition over the past year, with her hair thinning and starting to fall out in spots. But rather than trying to disguise her condition for her senior photos, Madisyn embraced it and the photos soon went viral.

Speaking of the photos, Madisyn told Yahoo Lifestyle, “I usually wear head covers due to the bald spots, so going entirely bald and exposing my head was new for me.”

Madisyn decided that she wanted to make a statement about society’s perception of beauty and those who suffer from hair loss. According to Madisyn, the most important thing to her was “embracing and embellishing something a lot of people see as a flaw or something to be embarrassed about,” she said. “I realized that while hair is pretty, hair does not make you pretty…This became who I am, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

But don’t think Madisyn decorated her head to feign covering up. “I did not have my mother paint my head to fill a void or to signify that there is something missing,” she said. “I want all those who suffer from hair loss to know that I see you, I love you, and you inspire me.
Well said! Here’s to embracing what makes us unique.
What do you think of Madisyn’s high school photos?

How many things I didn't do in high school, I still don't know how all my hair didn't fall out from the fact that I dyed in different colors. I painted provocatively and dressed especially for parties, it was the whole raison d'être, the most interesting thing that can be in high school. I recently wrote an essay with the help of a useful source https://newyorkessays.com/alcohol/ about the effects of alcohol on teens and adults, remembered how many parties there were in high school and how many were drunk, still amazed how I was still alive after all these parties

Oh What a fantastic person she must be and such an inspiration to others with the same kind of problem. So young and so brave she must have a great outlook on life and Good for her too. Well Done and I do agree Gilded less of the rubbish and more of this kind of story , if only the TV would do it too instead of focussing on all the bad things.
