Lady Jayne Claw Grip medium size comes on a cardboard sleeve. I have both black and brown shell medium grips.
The Claw Grip, hard durable plastic, 2 pieces of combed plastic held together with a metal spring in the centre. The other ends curved plastic lips that you press with thumb and finger, the spring tension opening the claws up to grab hair, like a butterfly clip.
For medium to long hair, my hair is below shoulder length.
Great to create off the face hairstyles when fringe length permits by holding large areas of hair together.
Excellent to use in warm weather to keep hair off neck to keep cool.
Can also create an easy to achieve up-do that is stylishly messy.
I like to twist hair length lift it up to head and attach the twisted hair to head with the Claw Grip. Voila, it looks great.
The twist can be loose or tight, whatever takes your fancy, a quick fix to style hair.
You can still use some styling products to enhance hair or change hair texture when you want.
The Claw Grip is a wonderful hair accessory, so easy to use, even on the go when super busy. It is versatile, I use the Claw Grip in hair occasionally when relaxing, doing chores, overheated, going to beach or going out. I always take one with me when I travel.
The quality Claw Grips last, I have had mine for years.

Ever since I started having my hair chemically straightened, I have been using claw grip clips to keep hair out of my face at home/for lazy sectioning of my hair when I use a straightener/put my hair up for the shower or when I washed my face. Basically I used it multiple times everyday. Because they were available everywhere for $2 for a pack of 2 I never thought to pay more than that for one. Except they kept breaking on me after a few months, either the plastic connector or the spring breaks. One day I was wondering around in Priceline while they had a sale and I grabbed one of these. It is quite well made, and when it finally broke earlier this year, it had lasted me just over 4 years.

I have long thick hair and the medium sized clip could hold all of my hair in place for hours without a hair-tie unless I move around a lot. I think it was well worth the money.

I have so many of these lying around it's not funny! These are great and last a lifetime! I have the tortoiseshell design in large in this brand. These have really been a lifesaver in this hot weather and are great for putting your hair up quickly and away from your neck to keep cool.

I basically pull my hair in a pony tail then twist it and use the clip to clamp my hair together. I have thick enough hair so that there is a lot for the clip to grip. These are great for using at home, after the shower when you just need to pull it up and on hot days. It's a great alternative to hair ties as these don't pull as much as hair ties and don't leave you with a bad kink in the hair. I highly recommend these!

I think six bucks for one of these is overpriced, so when I bought them I only stocked up when they were 1/2 OFF. They're lightweight and have a strong hold, though if you have silky straight hair you'll find that it'll often slip out between the gaps often. At first I loved these so I bought a couple more but I've given up on them. They're really poor quality and don't last more than a fortnight before breaking/snapping. I'm not rough with them or anything, they're just too fragile. Saw same looking ones on eBay for few cents each so I'll probably just get those if I want to by claw grips next time.

I have long hair that is past my shoulders. I have been trying to buy the Lady Jayne Super Hold Claw Grip which I assume is better for my type of hair, but it is never available when I try to buy it online. As an interim measure, I bought the Lady Jayne Claw Grip in the large tortoise shell design. After using the claw grip for a few weeks, the metal wire component snapped so I had to throw the claw grip away. Also, the plastic is flimsy, which meant that the claw grip wasn't strong enough to hold my hair for too long.

I hate wearing hair elastics because my hair is very long and when i put it up the weight of it is uncomfortable. With these hair clips though it is quick, easy and painless to put my hair up!

I also love to use these when i'm straightening my hair to separate the hair that has and has not been straightened and using them in the shower to hold my hair up when i don't want it to get wet or to keep my hair out of the way while i wash my face I absolutely have to have one at home at all times or i take it in my bag with me wherever i go if i'm not wearing it. They hold the hair really well and do not fall out of place, they also feel like a stronger plastic than some other similar clips. To me this is an essential hair item.

These are great for when I am too lazy to do my hair and just want to put it up. The clip is able to hold my medium length hair quite nicely. My hair can be quite thick so sometimes it's hard for it to hold all of it. You can also use it for when you want to put your hair half up. I normally twist my hair up and then clasp it together, either after a shower or when I'm having a bad hair day.

I love this clip for when I can't be bothered with hair ties (or can't find any) and simply want to put my hair up and out the way. They hold my hair in place but are quite gentle so it doesn't feel like my hair is being yanked. For the price you can't really go wrong with this item.
