Previously a hair colour women went to great lengths to hide, grey is making a comeback – and I have to say I’m digging it.
With a host of A-list celebs from Rihanna to Kylie Jenner experimenting with the look, it’s fair to say silver locks are officially on-trend… and with a recent study showing women are getting grey hair younger than ever, why not embrace your inner granny?
Not for the faint hearted, the look is actually pretty edgy. Exhibit A: Kylie Jenner, who paired hers with a tough leather jacket and fierce false lashes.
The 17-year-old reportedly spent 12 hours at a salon to transform her raven locks into greyish, greenish ones. Now that’s some serious dedication to a beauty trend!
The youngest Kardashian was swiftly followed by Orange Is the New Black star Dascha Polanco, who added some lilac at the ends for contrast.
Then there’s model Charlotte Free, whose grey strands were a departure from her signature pastel pink ‘do.
If you’re coming around to the grey hair look but need a bit more convincing, I recommend playing with a hair chalk first, such as Fudge Urban Hair Chalk in Iced White.
