So episode six of Project Runway aired last night and the look the budding designers were going for was Spring Racing Carnival.

Did you see it? I think it’s been my favourite theme so far; I did like the menswear challenge last week but I’m wondering if that was more because we bid adieu to Kellyanne? I shouldn’t have spoken so soon though as she – along with the other eliminated contestants – was back to help out the remaining designers in this stressful challenge.

I say stressful as they had just 10 hours to make a minimum of three Flemington-worthy pieces, including a headpiece. Jeez, talk about a challenge. Poor Yopie hadn’t even been to the races before so I felt for her.

But I was absolutely devastated that my arch-nemesis Kellyanne was paired with one of my favourites, Mark. However, between them they managed to create a feminine and elegant backless shift, complete with jacket and floral headpiece (which reminded me a bit of Marc Jacobs “bunny ears” that Madonna couldn’t get enough of just a few months ago).

But enough already, you want to know about the hair don’t you? And as us gals know, a hat is never an easy thing to pair a hairstyle with. Luckily, we have coiffeur to the stars and TRESemmé Head Stylist, Joh Bailey, on hand to show us how it’s done…

Step 1: towel dry hair and spritz lightly with TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray.

Step 2: blow-dry hair straight.

Step 3: create loose curls in the hair (try: Philips TRESemmé SalonStraight Sonic).

Step 4: secure hair into a low ponytail. Separate the ponytail into four sections, and then with each section, create individual loops and place them so that they look like a messy bun. Use bobby pins to secure.

Step 5: spritz the hair with TRESemmé Salon Finish Hairspray Extra Hold.

And voila, you’re race day ready.

What fail-safe hairstyle do you go for when you’re wearing a hat? And, if you’re a Project Runway fan, who’s your favourite designer so far?

  1. God is Good!
I promised God that I would share my testimony on this website. I had all the signs of STD Virus but I was not too sure as to which one. I did a lot of online research and scared myself straight for a whole week before going to see the nurse. She took one look at my genital part and first said that it could just be the anatomy of my body, then she said it looked like genital warts and that I MAY have herpes. I was devastated. She gave me some medicine for the herpes and some cream for the warts. I was also tested for every single STD including herpes. I went home and cried searching the web for all sorts of cures for herpes and awaiting my results. I saw a post whereby Dr. Kham cured Herpes and other diseases, I copied his contacts out and added him on whats app via +2348159922297. The next day my test result was ready and I confirmed Herpes positive. I told Dr. Kham about my health problems and he assured me of a cure. He prepared his herbal medicine and sent it to me. I took it for 14 days (2 weeks). Before the completion of the 14 days in which I completed the dose, the Blisters and Warts that were on my body were cleared. I went back for a check-up and I was told I’m free from the virus. Dr. Kham cures all types of diseases and viruses with the help of his herbal medicine. You can reach Dr. Kham via his email address on (dr.khamcaregiver@gmail.com) or call him on +2348159922297 and whats app him on the same number, but You can Also Visit his website to know more about him at https://herbal-dr-kham.jimdosite.com/ or visit his Blog at https://drkhamcaregiver.blogspot.com/ for more info.
