We’ve seen some unexpected hair colour trends recently, with granny-chic grey being the latest hue to take off.
But now some ladies are taking it to the next level, not only growing but dyeing their armpit hair.
Yep, as if the Hairy Legs Club social media movement wasn’t enough, women are sharing hairy armpit selfies in an effort to protest against society’s expectations of clean-shaven women – and in a variety of vibrant colours, no less.
Personally, I’m digging beauty blogger Destiny M’s bright blue underarms:

US hairdresser Rain Sissell is also a fan of the hue (perfectly matching her pits with the hair on her head), while Tumblr user aliiengrrrl opted for green à la her bathroom wall:

Rain’s colourist Roxie Hunt was immensely pleased with the result, calling it “a major win for body hair”.

While I don’t really see the armpit hair colour trend going mainstream, I’ve got to hand it to the girls who are willing to give it a go!
