I’m only asking as I’m thinking of following in Kim Kardashian and Miranda’s footsteps and lightening up.
Even though Miranda’s mummy prefers her as a brunette – it makes her eyes stand out apparently – there are a bevy of blondes and products to suit and I’m a little bit curious.
If I was a blonde for the day, this is what I’d do…
Wash my hair with John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo. What? If I’m going blonde, I might as well go full hog and this is the perfect solution. It uses a natural lightening complex and chamomile to gradually lighten blonde tones to make blonde hair even brighter. It’s also infused with lactic acid, which breaks down colour pigments and improves the overall condition of hair by tightening the cuticle and strengthening the hair shaft.
Detangle my messy tresses with PPS Hairwear Blonde As Toning Detangler. This uses green tea and strengthening proteins to smooth and control tangled hair. It comes in a handy 25g size, which is perfect for travel or the gym too.
Treat my locks to Schwarzkopf Professional BlondMe Shine Moisture Mask, which tackles limp, dull and lifeless hair. This rinse-out treatment provides intensive repair thanks to wheat proteins and pro vitamin B5. High-tech long-chain silicone and apricot oils also apply a protective film to the hair, leaving a soft and smooth finish.
Finish with Redken 5th Avenue NYC Blonde Glam Crystal Flash. This leave-in shine treatment is best for multi-tonal blondes. It creates a long-lasting barrier against frizz and flyaways while also infusing shine and highlights. The crystal mica is great for gloss, while grapefruit extract helps to improve colour clarity and proteins reinforce the cuticle and reduce chance of breakage.
And voila, a blonde bombshell I shall be…
Do blondes really have more fun? What do you think of Miranda and Kim’s lighter locks? And what colour hair would you choose if you could?
