The best-tressed of the Golden Globes

We saw some pretty impressive looks swish down the red carpet at the 2015 Golden Globes; Zosia Mamet’s dreamy, off-grey lob against her creamy porcelain skin was to die for, Sienna Miller’s razor sharp, jaw-dropping blunt bob had us calling our hairdressers, and Jessica Chastian oozed old Hollywood glamour with her side-parted, side-swept mane.

But for whatever reason, there were a few hairdos we just couldn’t take our eyes off. We asked celebrity stylist Dario Cotroneo and RAW Salon’s Anthony Nader to teach us how to recreate these stunning styles:

How to get KATE HUDSON’S sleek, chic bun

  1. Part hair in the middle and blow-dry until sleek and smooth.
  2. Once hair is dry, spray medium-hold hairspray onto the hair and brush back into a low ponytail, maintaining the middle part. Secure with an elastic band and divide the ponytail into two sections.
  3. Wrap the two sections of hair around the base of the ponytail to create a loose bun, then secure with bobby pins. Loosen hair slightly for a bit of texture.
  4. Spray a make-up brush with medium-hold hairspray and gently run it over your hair to set the style in place.
