Ladies, gents, perfume lovers alike, gather close, for today – in a matter of hours in fact – we will know who the coveted ‘Oscars’ of the fragrance world go to.
It goes a little something like this…
Marc Jacobs has one, as does Posh. Elizabeth Taylor has several. Husbands? No silly, The Fragrance Foundation’s coveted FiFi® Award, that’s what. Diddy loves his sooo much that he keeps it on his yacht. Fancy.
This year, it’s the 37th annual FiFi Awards Ceremony and it’s being held in NYC as we speak. 26 awards are given out in categories that encompass all stages of a fragrance’s life from design of the fabulous flacon to the pretty packaging and attractive advertising and, of course, the very heart of a fine fragrance.
Over 1000 guests from the fragrance and media as well as celebrities galore gather to witness the awards (and perhaps nab themselves a goodie bag?). Walking the red carpet will be Mary J. Blige, Dustin Hoffman, Paris Hilton, Kate Walsh Walsh and Marc Jacobs himself who will receive the coveted Hall of Fame Award for his fabulous collection of fragrances that include the cult Daisy and bh Glosscar winner Daisy Eau de Parfum.
It’s rumoured that Paris will nab Female Celebrity Fragrance of the Year (worthy, not worthy?) so be sure to stay tuned to bh as we reveal the winners later today,
What’s your current signature scent? Mine’s the new Chloe Eau de Toilette which will hit stores on Monday – get it, it’s captivating. Plus taxi drivers seems to like it. Odd but strangely nice.

My current winter one is Black orchid, summer – orchid soleil. Evening one Lubin and Tom Ford lost cherry. Day one Alien from Mugler. All are a bit overpowering and can repel those with allergies I think haha
Have tried Chloe perfume, nope, not for me. Also daisy…and flankers. Just can’t. Bottles tacky too.
