Is there something wrong with beautyheaven cause im not getting any points i keep writing comments and getting no points
Hi Renee april,
just jumping in here to let you know that to help deter points racking, we have a cap on points for posting new forum threads and replying to existing ones. You can find out more about the point system here (just scroll down):
As you can see in the table, points awarded for posting reviews and also for commenting on articles aren't capped - so I would encourage you to continue to participate in these activities as well as post in the forums!
Feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions.

Hi Beth, I am only bronze level at the moment. Am I able to go into a particular product under the All Brands icon and leave a review of it?? I did leave a review on a Dr Lewinns day cream I have started using and it didn't register. I thought maybe I cannot leave a review while on bronze level????
It takes a few days for the reviews to post - you'll receive a notification in your messages in the top showing you get the points once reviewed.
Alternatively, you can check for your reviews by clicking your username and then going to reviews and then clicking the pending tab that will show you which are pending in the future :)
How long does it take for points from reviews to show up??
Thank you so much for the info. I’m new also but haven’t had any issues. The link you gave was awesome!
Just stumbled upon this post thread. Thanks for asking about the point system. It's helped me understand it too.
It took me a while to get it! I got my account blocked twice also!
Why was it blocked?
I have to build some
Well i guess im late... but i jus joined and was still confused about the points.. thanks for asking.
Thanks for the help on this thread
I wasn’t aware some reviews could be not approved what is the approval criteria
They wont be approved if your review is too brief. BH generally looks at whether you have described the packaging, how does it feel, how do you feel, how do you look, who would you recommend to etc. Of course those criteria do not apply to every single product. Out of 500 reviews I only had one review not approved and that was a review for a perfume - BH came back to me and asked me how did it feel and how did I look which was the strangest thing ever. I revised the review and said well I didnt actually look any different and that got approved straight away.
However from my experience if I write a negative review it can take weeks to get approved. BH might go to the brand to ask for a response but they all eventually got approved.
From my experience it takes a few days for a review to be approved or not. They have to make sure it's got the right information and is appropriate.
This oil has a very mild and pleasant smell to it. I applied this to a damp face and it absorbed quite well.
This cream has a very mild and pleasant scent.
I got colour matched at priceline for this foundation and i did think it was too dark for me once I tried to wear it at home.
