How do I refer a friend?

Thanks for this thread. I have a couple of friends whom I think may get good use from this site.

One thing I know from receiving random invites from friends to sign up for things where they will also get a benefit is that I ignore the obvious copy and paste emails.

My close friends know exactly what I am interested in and they only rarely mention joining a group to me and probably 90% of the time I will join it because I know my friend knows me specifically

tldr: don’t spam your friends lol 🙂

I did have one more question: How do I get emails with recent blog posts etc. ? On my profile all the newsletter options are ticked but I never get emails from bh.

Hi kdrummond1, just jumping in here to confirm the ‘refer a friend’ feature was unfortunately removed from the site a while ago as we were having trouble with members creating fake email addresses to refer to in order to accrue points.

As misfortune8 has said, this definitely doesn’t mean you can’t send your friend a very warm welcome on our behalf – here’s a link to the sign up page in case you want to forward it on:

Hi kdrummond1! I just had a look for the link & I can’t find it either. We used to be able to get points for referring friends, but we can’t do that now. The website had a revamp about a year ago. It looks like bh have removed the link.

I reckon you’ll have to just send them an email or message & recommend they check out beautyheaven & include the link to an article you think your friend might like, or even just the home page: http://www.beautyheaven.com.au If I’m not logged in, I always get a pop-up message asking if I want to sign up.
