Hi ladies, im Mariel and i just start bh just 1 hour ago ahaah, im still kinda new to this, and is confused about the points ? its a silly question but what are they for ? and the loyalty program ? does that mean i get freebies and such ?

Welcome Mariel Rufina. katshepusutt did a great job of explaining this. One thing to note is beautyheaven have since put a points cap for the forum posts and love button, meaning you can only earn a number of points. Once you reach this cap, you will earn nil points for posting on the forum or “loving” articles etc

Hi Mariel, and welcome to beautyheaven! bh is a magical place and super-rewarding if you contribute honestly and regularly. My best advice to you is to *”read, read and read”*, ha ha! The points and loyalty rewards system are explained clearly under the pink *”My beautyheaven”* button in the top right-hand corner. The more you contribute (reviews, comments, forum) the more points you receive, the quicker you get to Beauty Buff level, and the more fun you’ll have along the way. Once at that level, you can exchange your points for beauty products from the bh warehouse (*”beautorium”*) and you’ll only have to pay postage/packing – nobody knows what’s in the warehouse as this is a newly introduced system, but we’re all hanging out till February which is when the first beautorium will open.

Duplicate subject forum threads get locked, so best to search for a topic to see if there is already a thread before creating a new one. Points for forum posts are capped at 50 (I believe), and the bh staff keep an eye on things to make sure points are earned in the spirit of the site, which is to *contribute*, not just rack up points.

You’re welcome MR, but do tell what else you’re confused about. This is the only internet beauty site I am a member of, so I’m not sure what you’re used to, or are expecting. bh sends out 2 emails per week (Mondays & Thursdays) and your points automatically update when you comment or perform any of the other activities listed under My beautyheaven. Have you ticked all the boxes?
