Alex Perry Glasses

Hope that Specsavers still sells this brand in 2021.

Ha! Funny that this thread exists! I got new glasses in January and I really loved my Alex Perry glasses until I got them home and wore them for a week. It took that long to realise that even though they looked great, they were the flimsiest pair of glasses I’ve owned in the 30 years that I’ve been wearing glasses. I can’t wait for the new financial year so I can get a new pair for when (not ‘if’) they break. It’s a shame because looks-wise, they’re one of my favourites.

I’m due for my new pair of glasses so I might have a look.

Bought a pair of Alex Perry prescription glasses. They just caused me more trouble than they are worth. For one the Lens kept falling out and I had to get it fixed about 8 times – and this is with normal everyday use!!!

My hair and clothes kept getting caught in the hinge. Strangely I have never had these issues before for the past 10 years that I have been using glasses . Just shows the cheap quality of glasses that Alex Perry is putting his name to NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL

Red or Dead have a fantastic collection of really funky and totally wearable frames and are available from Specsavers.

SpecSavers have a really great, affordable line at the moment. I got two pairs – one pair of Alex Perry sunglasses, and one pair of Colette Dinnigan clear glasses and they were both covered by medicare – really stylish and comfy 🙂

Where it is located? I need to check that.

Maybe I should go and check them out. In the past couple of months I’ve been popping in to different eye stores looking for a new pair of frames, but not finding anything I like. I can’t wear heavy frames because I have light hair and blue eyes and thick glasses just overwhelm me.
