I tried my friends one for a while [or was it Wii sports? Sorry, I can`t really remember ><] and whilst it was moderately fun, I think it`d be boring after a while. I wasn`t sure how effective it was as exercise either, despite what they say. But it does have a great feature of measuring your weight and calculating BMI every time you log on. Eventually it can show you a graph of progress.

It seems fun but I think regular exercise has more benefits. Jogging outdoors means you can enjoy fresh air and the environment too! Jumping up and down and moving around whilst looking at a TV screen can`t be good for your eyesight either.

I got my Wii Fit last year, and loved it at first and got some great results from it, particularly on my legs and stomach muscles. But I found that I got sick of it pretty quickly once I unlocked all the different exercises. I also wasn`t a big fan of the pace of the game – all the preliminary stuff and loading of each exercise took up so much time, so for every half an hour of using the Wii Fit I was only doing about 15 minutes of actual exercise.
I have now moved on to My Fitness Coach for Wii, which I absolutely love, and still haven`t got sick of, and I`ve been using it almost every day for 2 months now. It tailors a workout program for you based on your unique body measurements, weight, and abilities. You can then set the amount of time you want to work out each day, and the focus for each workout (Cardio, Upper Body, Core Body, etc). You can also choose different music and workout environments to keep you motivated. It`s so awesome! And only costs around $60.

🙁 well I can`t afford a wii at the moment, so I went and bought a hoola hoop. I think I am getting more exercise bending down and picking it up. lol Gee as a kid, I used to be able to hoola hoop for ages but now, ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Am determined to hoola hoop again.
