Yvette it was just a really crap experience, got it all over my arms and neck and freaking everywhere, i had the gloves on and still got stained arms, then cause it’s hot i had to have the fan on full blast on me for the 30 mins because dye was running down my face….. was just a bad time to pick to colour! and it doesn’t look much different, hoping in the sun it does!

Thanks girls, I will try the solvol, my dad used to use it after working on his car 🙂

Do you know of a soap called Solvol? It gets rid of all kinds of stains and is available at supermarkets. Have you tried makeup remover and/or toner? Hopefully someone with hairdressing experience will post a suggestion. Alternatively, you could call one of the hair stores and ask them… good luck!

Thats the same soap I used at work to get stains off my hands when i was staining tissue for microscopic analysis – these were pretty hardcore stains as they are designed to stain up various cpmponents of human tissue…so when i got it on my hands they were well and truely dyed! So hair dye should be no match for this soap.

Another option would be metho – though thats pretty drying.

As Roxymisha said Solvol should work or any other heavy duty soap. Also maybe rubbing in or scrubbing your hands with some waterproof makeup remover??? It works with trickles down the face.

Uh oh Mel…. what happened babe?!?!?!

I do know of one way, use perfume to take off the dye stains but i think that might be a bit harsh..

i hope someone knows a more nicer way to do it =)
