Whitening cream
Hey guys, just wondering what whitening products you would recommend? I’m trying to fade my acne scars and freckles.
Are there any products that you have found to be effective? I know that there aren’t much whitening products available in Australia so recommendations from online stores will also be helpful.
Thanks

Annyex she is referring to the new Ultraceuticals Even Skin Tone product I think, which is supposed to be more potent than the original. I was tossing up deciding on trying that one, but considering I found the normal one useless and had such great results with the white balance I thought that was the better way to go. The White Balance was better suited to my budget also, haha, I think it is about $95 as opposed to $65ish and yeah I have no complaints at all. Most of the members I have recommended it to are loving it also, because I think it is a more natural skin care brand compared to UC, which still has nasties. I am glad to hear some positive feedback on the complex though, but at this stage don’t really feel the need to go for the more expensive product when I am getting good results 🙂
Sorry Melmeko if I made any misunderstanding : )
I havent even gotten around to get the product, since Im trying to use all my ‘useless’ whitening cream!Haha no all good, I knew which one you were talking about and I also knew which one she was talking about, considering they sound so similar it would be easy to mix up the two 😉

I’ve used a Tony Moly face mask which brightens (and lightens) your skin. It’s temporary but the SA told me the results get better with daily use. It’s in a shape of a tomato. Most Korean stores should sell this in Australia. But for online shopping try sasa.com.

Well, i use shiseiso as well and it’s heaps good. Never heard of Medik8 but thanks, will search up. Do hope it’s cheaper than my shiseido one…even though i got it in a department store in taiwan ahaha, cosmetics and skincare are alot cheaper there 🙂
So…where do you buy it? It says on the website that the only known aussie store is in western aus >.>

I tried Medik8 White Balance for my pigmentation but I found Ultraceuticals Even Skintone Complex better.
That’s interesting because one of our fellow members, Melmeko use the Medik8 and loves it, and it’s even better than the Ultraceuticals one.
I guess it really works for people with different skin, plus the Medik8 is much cheaper. I’m glad it’s giving you results that you’re hoping for : ) -

This Medik8 serum sounds good. I have some acne scars to lighten.
