Whiskers!

I’m dressing up as a mouse (haha) next Sunday, and need to draw mouse whiskers and a nose on my face! I wondered if liquid eyeliner would do nicely (and would you please recommend a brand), or if I should use face paint (and is face paint available at art shops – I would think so)?

THANK YOU x

I personally would not use liquid liner unless it’s in a pen type form, I often find it can peel off otherwise and often smudges/stuffs up, also doesn’t have much staying power. Gel eyeliner is much much much better and you can choose how much product you get, but I do think pencil would be the best product to do this with as it really does have a better staying power.

I would go with a cheaper eye liner… Like BYS or Prestige. Just to play with.

im sure either would work nicely 🙂
maybe go into priceline or something and have a draw with a liquid liner on your hand, then you can see how well it stays, draws etc. Otherwise facepaint would be fine, but i’d probably go with the liner just because i can use it afterwards 🙂

Maybe a good gel liner would work well too.

BYS liquid liner works really well and stays put without smudging. It’s no good for my waterline but works really well on my skin and doesn’t come off unless you rub it really hard. (only costs around $4.50)

I’ve seen some good things about this liner on BH so that’s why I went out and bought it 🙂 Hope this helps.

You have just reminded me of when my daughter was aged 9 and had to be a mouse in a school concert. We just painted her nose and whiskers black (face paint was bought at a toy shop).
Let us know how you go.
