You moisurise, then after that has soaked in, you apply a small amount of primer only. I love Elizabeth Ardens Good Morning Serum. Then apply foundation, and then concealer where you need it.

definitely primer first, then makeup as that will provide most of your coverage and then just use concealer where you still need it.

You definetely prime your skin first to achieve a better end result and one thats alot more smooth and even looking. It acts as a base for foundation, concealer etc. However I didnt know that your supposed to put concealer after foundation, I was always taught to apply concealer on blemishes or to cover discolourations under the eye or that and then apply foundation. Thats how make-up artists have always applied it to me so I followed their routine.

or if you want a natural look… you can mix a little bit of concealer with a little bit of primer

Apply the primer first, but dont apply concealer until after your foundation/tinted moisturiser. As they cover 50% of your spots.

definitely prime your skin first, the whole point of primer is that it helps “”prime”” your skin for makeup so that your makeup goes on smoother, sinks in well and lasts all day.

Thanks Pink Diva, I have been putting the concealer before the foundation. This is why I have been having trouble applying the concealer. I will now practice and see how I go.

deffinately primer! It gives a good base for your foundation and helps it stay on longer
