What happened after Monroe?

It sees after Marilyn Monroe died, the shift toward ‘ideal feminine beauty’ involved becoming more boy-like (as seen by today’s models). Curves just seemed to die!
Was this because of Twiggy, do you think? And why did fashion showcase her if it was still curve-season back in the 60’s?
I wish we could have the curv revolution again 🙁

And Jayne Mansfield was meant to be the next closest thing to her, but I think she was slightly less curvy and beautiful 🙂
Anna Nicole wanted to die like Marilyn…she was curvy…I just wonder why, since she was such a legend, very few want her body type these days?

Marilyn is a timeless classic who will never go out of style. her look is copied all the time by such celebrities as Madonna, Gwen, Kylie and Christina to name a few. Marilyn a sexy body and I`d much rather have her curves than starve to be a size o.

I love Marilyn Monroe, she was a REAL woman,
she did put on the ditzy act, but I think she was rather smart underneath,
Its sad to think Hollywood and politics got her in the end,
she was just a kind hearted woman looking for love in all the wrong places,
and got mixed up and taken for granted by the wrong men.
