Wedding make up on a budget??

Hi all.
I’m getting married in 2 weeks and I have decided to do my own make up as I’m on a budget with all the other costs involved – at least I still get my hair done lol!
I am wondering if anyone else did their own make up for their wedding and if so, what you used? I have fair skin and a few blemishes so if you know of any great concealers too please let me know.
Also, if anyone knows of a non-clump mascara that actually lives up to its name (as so many of them don’t) please let me know?
Cheers,
Em

I hope the wedding went well

For my wedding I hired a make up artist but then brought my own compact powder (covergirl) and brought a lip gloss (Rimmel) and then I brought an estee lauder lipstick that my makeup artist suggested

the make up stayed on pretty much all day and I only had to touch up the lips once or twice and then i used the compact once just before speeches.

But if you didnt want to use a compact i have been advised by my makeup artist if you take a tissue and separate it so you only have one layer and gently pat that on your face to take away the shine that works perfectly to get rid of any of that unwanted shine.

Thanks Style 🙂 I will give the Define A Lash mascara a go as it`s quite reasonably priced. Thanks again!

Maybeline DEFINE A LASH mascara is great Whaee, no clumps and i find it gives massive volume. Bourjois Yes to Volume No to Clumps is also great, if you can get use to the od brush! It took me a while but it works so great. Not sure about the wedding make-up as i don`t have much experience with it but goodluck with it all!
