Veet hair removal

I’ve seen this advertised as needing no razor, as it just removes hair through the gel. Can anyone vouch for this?
If it does work I thought it would be very popular so I”m guessing it isn’t completely effective.

don`t bother. depending on the size of your legs one bottle will last just about as long as one razor, and is $5-$10 mor eexpensive. i tried it once, didn the patch test and everything, and was fine. the second time i tried it my legs went all itchy and burny and red and bumpy – i looked like the lovchild of a sunburnt albino and a lobster! and it hurt so bad i couldn`t sleep without panadol. went to the chemist the next day (doctor was booked out) who gave me some magical cream and some magical (if a little obvious) insight:

because cream and gel hair removers are chemical based they are the form of hair removal most likley to cause a reaction

Doesn`t work any better than shaving.
Although it`s good to use every 3/4th time to give your skin a break from the razor.

i find an illergic reaction to this stuff the chemicals are not really nice to my skin!

Is exactly the same as shaving but it makes the area really smooth. I`ve got the original Veet one and the Raspberry Sensitive one, I like the sensitive one better because it doesn`t smell as bad as the original.

Do a patch test first. My sister broke out in a massive rash which was burning her. I have used it and find it does work but it only lasts as long as shaving and it`s far more expensive when you`re doing it every few days!

yeah i foundalot of them burnt and stang because of my sensitive skin but i bit the bullet and got the in shower one and absolutely no problem no stinging or burning but yeah they need bigger tubes for the same price though as u dont get alot of uses out of the one tube

I`ve used this one too – it`s quite good – same as jmstock said it has the same effect as shaving I guess advantage is no chance of cutting yourself? But on other hand it`s not great for sensitive skin as it is all chemicals – the veet thing doesn`t cost a lot but I found I used like almost half the tube in one go, so I think shaving is more economical!

It does work you leave it on your legs and then gently remove it.Not painfall and not that dear.
