VCE
Hey all, when you were in high school what subjects did you study and how did it go? And if you don’t mind what enter score did you get?
I am just wondering! =]

My class makes the rest of the other students which is only a couple that wants to learn.. our french teacher is very nice but i can tell she is not used to being in a noisy class. She isn`t that kind of tough teacher so it makes it hard for me to learn. The class is so noisy sometimes that i don`t even know what we are doing, literally.
Assistant principal, middle school coordinator comes into our class to talk bout the boys behaviours, it really is affecting my learning and reputation of my education this year. It is terrible. -

hmm Kay n Jay Ive been studying french for the last two years and I`m not sure if it`s worth it so i kinda knw where you`re coming from
When I`m older I was thinking of travelling somewhere like Paris to get to know the fashion industry and culture. Plus, French is the 10th most spoken language internationally. So obviously learning a second language grants you different opportunities. If i don`t continue doing it I feel as if I might regret it later and have missed out.
THe low down is, as nice as my teacher seems, she`s not doing a satisfactory effort. I heard the year 10`s are expected to write full page essays in french and majority failed French and dropped out. My teacher doesn`t review on our vocabulary or do the basics like abcs, spelling tests and most of the time gives us written work. So I`m not even sure if i`m full fledged to study it aswell.

Oh wow Elmo that is a good achievement! I have trouble with language, i study french at school at the moment but i highly doubt i am capable of doing it for VCE. I really want to study Japanese but unfortunately it is a little late for that. And to be honest, i am only actually 15 ongoing to 16 soon soo i just said i was 16 lol i am only in year 9 going into year 10 next year. I don`t want to not do a language for VCE because language is important not only for the extra points but for the future too. I am not sure if i should continue french.. i just don`t have that determination to continue it but i spent 3 years on it, 3 years of waste.

When I was in yr 10 I did units 1 and 2 of psychology – then in yr 11 I did units 3 and 4.
In year 12 I did english, french, renaissance history and studio art. Then instead of doing a 5th VCE subject I did a subject through Monash University in Melbourne (it meant double spares and it was really easy!). I have to say I easily spent most of my time (and spares!) doing stuido art – I did photography and couldn`t get enough of it!
Ended up with an enter score of 94.15 which I was pretty proud of! 🙂
Kay are you coming up to VCE soon or have you started already?
