Travel Make Up Bag.

This is a helpful thread not just for me but for basically anyone taking a trip or for the vintage traveller who looks at their makeup bag, is satisfied with it but wants multiple opinions.

So the question is, when you go on holidays what are your top cosmetic must-haves?

Can you recommend a small quad, travel sized items, anything to make less room for bring back more goodies from your vacation.

Well, I’ve finally packed my makeup bag and it’s staying in my drawer so I don’t add anything to it. Mostly it’s just skincare but eh, I’m not there to look good with makeup just have fun! 😀

I always put things in little bottles either from samples or hotel bottles.

I got some Kiehl’s stuff last week (with a facial) and they gave me a fab opaque zip up bag that i’ll be using for my travels and a load of deluxe samples. It’s all on my blog if you want to see 🙂

It’s always good to have a research partner asleep on the job…….

Your Husky is sooo adorable!! Name?

Her name’s Akira, she needed a home and so we gave her one and yes, she’s very adorable, more so when she’s asleep because I have another husky who’s equally as much a nut job. lol

Love the photo – so cute! I was at a brand new Coles a few weeks ago and they had a section in the cosmetics area which was dedicated to travel sized items. There was a huge array of products including skincare, tooth products etc. I haven’t seen it before but you might want to see if there is a new Coles store near you. I was very impressed so hope you can find one.

Instead of your Chanel makeup why don’t you try a powder foundation as it won’t be heavy nor spill? I am amazed by the story with customs – so unfair. Suggest you use any samples you might have and makeup wipes rather than taking cleansers. x

She’s not so cute right now, she just went into their little husky pool with my other husky, Ziva then ran inside and jumped on my bed soaking wet. lol

I’m doing some online Coles shopping now and just curious I checked out the beauty section and on there they have a small selection in the travel products so thanks for the suggestion.

    A pleasure. x

priceline has heaps of travel sized items, palmers have little moisturisers too.

I have worked out the little 40ml shampoo bottles last me one week, washing alternate days per my usual regime.
I also have heaps of mini sized dermalogica and payot products from travelling business class regularly, plus half the other flyers often leave them behind hehe
I always wash my make-up off when flying overnight to sleep then apply TM just before breakfast is served.
I also pack some muslin type cloths to make it easier to wash my face on board. (although you could use face wipes if you prefer)
