Tinted Moisturiser

Hey guys.
Was just wondering if you guys put on primer before putting on tinted moisturiser. Also do you guys set the moisturiser with powder as well?

I just use my usual moisturiser under TMs, however I’ve found that applying them with a stippling type brush gives a really smooth and lasting finish. Since I started using brushes I haven’t been able to stand the feel of using my hands and rubbing and getting stuff all over them lol.

That’s pretty much exactly what it is Kdevries, but depending on what you do with it you can get different finishes!

I didn’t realise tinted moisturiser required quite so much effort, as naive as that seems haha
I just thought it was a lighter/quicker substitute to foundation 😀

I usually use primer before TM too. But that’s because I usually put a very thin layer of liquid foundation or compact over the TM.

I sometimes do. I find the primer gives it a nice base for easier application of the tinted moisteriser/foundation. A light dusting of powder is optional.

Thanks to Mel, i bought IZ in a smaller size (not sure the exact size) but hte smaller ones that cost a bomb though! but it is well worth my money since it stays the whole day and great coverage. But i dont really like the smell of it plus even after using powder on top of it, it still feels abit sticky on my face

I know it has incredible staying power, it takes some time to get use to the thickness and the feel but I find the powder definitely helps a bit. I use a kaolin based powder to keep it really matte 🙂

Hi, I normally just dust bronzing powder over it. Sets the face and gives it the sun-kiss look

Yep, if I’m looking more shiny than glowy I’ll use a bit of powder. In the cooler months when my skin is a bit drier I like the sheen without the powder.
