The new Nivea Beauty Is campaign

Nice one there karlea – brave of you!
I love this natural beauty idea. There seems to be either one of two extremes – either the super-skinny foetus look sported by 12 year old coked out models, or the kind of Nicki Blonsky “”love your body”” message that encourages women to eat fried chicken and get fat and its all ok as long as you still love yourself. I dont think beauty can conform to one standard size, but I know for a fact that its really hard to love yourself if you aren`t healthy – whether that be underweight, overweight or “”average.”” Whatever average is! I love seeing normal, healthy, pretty looking women who are happy with themselves and seem to have some brains in their head!

hehe, thanks Jayne! It is the Cape Liptrap Lighthouse near Wilson`s Promotory, VIC. We went there over the new year. It was sooo windy, I was getting my photo taken and I was actually trying to hold down my dress – it was my Marylin moment – so I`d thought I`d make the most out of my pose!
