Tattooing – Great Body Art or Big Mistake

well put blood ….i like that 🙂 and i respect anyone ….the old days r gone where u were seen as a rebel with a tatt alot of ppl u c everyday have 1 and u woodnt know ….ppl put me in that catagory u really have to know me and then u usually see it but ppl dont pick me to have 1 so they dont ever realise it ……sneeky 1s r good 🙂

Never really understood the argument that when you’re old and your skin’s wrinkly, that your tattoo would like hell. At that age, you’re not looking your best anyway, and some wrinkled tattoo is probably the last thing you’re thinking of. I could definitely respect an inked up granny. Speaking of which, I cannot wait for my tattoo, which I’ve put a lot of thought into, but am still unsure of. I love tattoos and I think they’re dead sexy.

haha …yeah depends on ur genes …i look at my nan and think im am totally ok with that she has great skin…..might b different in ur family tho…. but i have 1 tatt and proud of it and thats all i am getting 🙂 its small and not stupid and means alot to me ……but there will always b ppl who feel that way

i really dont like tattoos, just think about ruby rose, she is always wearing beautiful close and make up to like awards and stuff but apart from having a gorgous out fit she always looks horrible because of all her tats (unless they are covered up of course) i really recomend not getting them, imagine what your gran children would think of your tats on your wrinkly skin when your old…..eww

I quite like tattoos but hubby hates them so I’ll never get one. It’s his dumpable offense for me (ie if I got one he’d dump me…though we are married with a kid now so he prob wouldn’t dump me anymore!! My dumpable offense for him was drugs. I HATE them and said if he ever tried them I’d dump him…if he doesn’t respect me enough to risk his life taking some unknown substance cooked up in some dumbsh*ts garage then he doesn’t deserve to be with me…but that’s just my opinion…and I have digressed!!).

One of my friends is super conservative and even a bit nerdy and o e day she bent over and she had a fairly large tat on her lower back. I was quite surprised and said so. Turns out her father had the same tat on his arm and after he suddenly passed away she got a replica of it done on her back. She did say that it turned out a lot bigger than she was expecting but I quite liked the reason for getting that tat.

I have 4 chinese characters on my back (left shoulder) , translated it is a proverb, flying dragon dancing phoenix (a balance between male and female) i was born in the year of the dragon and i’m female so it has great meaning to me to have it in chinese. I have it so that it’s rarely seen by others, it’s not about showing it off for me, it’s about the meaning behind it. I’ve never regretted getting either

I don’t like how they seem to age – if they stayed as vibrant as when they were first done, I’d be keener, but I don’t like the look when the colours fade and the black gets dull and greenish.

It seems everyone around my age is getting a tattoo in some way, shape or form and it has at times crossed my mind, but right now at this point, I cant think of anything that I would want on me forever and wouldnt do it just for the sake of it. I dont have a single thing agaisnt them, I love the look of so many I’ve seen. But yeah, wouldnt get one unless it really meant something to me or was defining of me in some way. Plus I have an epic fear of needles and pain, so that always gets in the way of things like that haha.
