Sunburnt lips.. ouchies!!

Yes I had sunburnt lips at the end of last year and the best thing I used was paw paw!!!

Yup the burts bees lifeguards choice is a winner if you can find it for preventing the burn in the first place.
Best healing balm ive used for nasty windburnt lips (they didnt stop bleeding for a week) is carmex original – its in a little pot or tub with a yellow lid. Guessing it would work for sunburn as well. I`ve also heard it does wonders if you get cold sores but thankfully havent had to try it for that

Lucas`s PawPaw is definitely a must in this situation! I got burnt back in January on the Australia day weekend and my lips were burnt awfully.

In my case, i tried Nivea chapsticks, Lucas and gloss pots from the body shop. Lucas`s really stood out because it was quite soothing (no idea how) and really nourished the skin. Within a few days, the dead skin came off with baby skin underneath and my ordeal was over.

Paw Paw is good but personally I adore NIVEA chapsticks. I think some of them have SPF and they`re very good for protecting lips. My lips dry easily so I always have one on me, I`m never without it! I once went a whole day without it and afterwards they were dry and horrible for a week [no kidding] which only makes me appreciate more the awesomeness that is Nivea chapsticks.

Aloe Vera is good for sunburn but I don`t know about lips…I would go with the paw paw ointement! That lip balm sounds good angelee.

definitely fixes cracked lips and sunburn so it might do sunburnt cracked lips

I checked on the Burt`s Bees website, there is actually a lip balm with SPF in it. It`s called “”Lifeguard`s Choice Lip Balm””

Whoops sorry maybe I got that one wrong…so a no to burts bees…must`ve been thinking of another one…but the others are all good too! 🙂
