Streaks for grey hair

I am 42 and have decided to go grey. I can hear the gasps of horror. But I have been dying my hair for the last 23 years! I have cropped my hair short for the process. What I thought was to add highlighted streaks to the areas that are growing out to soften the line between its dyed brown colour and the grey. Can anyone recommend any home streaking products that I can use at home? Or is there another way I should go?
