Spill Your Secrets

DIY masks, got any..if so SPILL!!

Mine is..2 tblspns of granulated sugar, 2 tblspns of honey & 3 tblspns of “Extra Virgin” oil, throughly mix, creates an awesome scrub for face and body, leave it on for to minutes after cleansing your face then usual tone and moisturise, (take advantage of the sugar and exfoliate your skin) soft enough to use everyday

I spilled my beans, now it’s your turn!

i use a green argyle clay mask (just a teaspoon of clay with some water) a couple of times a week and it`s really evened out my skin tone. i get it at a natural beauty place in daylesford…i dunno where else you cen get it……but if you find it, it`s good. it also works great as on overnight spot treatment, really shrinks pimples, even those nasty hurty under-the-skin ones.

Thanks gemini! And you`d use it cooked, I assume?
Wow sharna!! Hope you`re having a great time!!
My tip is to do with mascara. I`m sure that most of you know it, but if you end up with mascara on your eyelid etc etc, wait until it dries before trying to get it off. Otherwise it`ll just smudge everywhere. Once it dries, it`ll just flake off no worries.

I like to make a soothing bath soak with oats and milk. You need about half to one cup of rolled oats (not the 1 minute kind, the traditional ones), and a cup of whole milk. Put them together in a blender and pulverise for about 10-20 seconds. The rolled oats should be very fine granules now.
Run a warm bath and add this mix to the water. Get in and soak away to silky soft skin. You can also use the oat granules to help exfoliate your skin while you`re in the bath.

Oatmeal is a porridge – so if you cook it and add milk to it – the consistancy is thick, it adds bulk to other ingredients and is used for exfoliation purposes as well.

    I have a very silly question, I know… But what`s oatmeal? A bit of a mind blank 🙂

a fab exfoliating mask is mashed pawpaw & strawberries smoothed onto skin. the natural acids leave the skin really soft and clear.
    moisture, avocado, youghurt & honey.
sensitive skin mix these with oatmeal.
