Spider veins

I have just noticed what I think might be spider veins on my legs. They are near my ankles and a few other spots. They are very thin reddy purple lines, very thin and flat. Are they spider veins and how I does one treat these?

Thanks darl, looking forward to your outcome in a few months, I was always under the impression that laser was the only option. All of the topical treatments I have tried to date did nada :-/ Fingers crossed for a solution that works 🙂

Will be interested in hearing your thoughts after you use it. Do you use it on your body? I`ve not heard of it before, might have to check it out online 🙂

Thanks for the advice. definitely sounds like spider, as they are not big, lumpy or painful. Thanks for the welcomes.

Vanessa, did you get them done by a dermatologist or at a cosmetic clinic? I`d love to get mine done.

Yes I`ve had the procedure where a super fine needle gently injects saline into them and flushes out the `dead blood` which causes the actual spider vein and the `heavy leg feeling` too. After I had two appointments of having this done my legs felt 20 years younger, looked fantastic and all the heavy leg feeling I had prior to the procedure had disappeared!! I would have this done again if I need to in the future.

Sounds like spider veins to me too and I`ve heard they are common around the ankles. Vitamin K cream is good for reducing spider veins and treating broken capillaries. Massage the area about two times a day with a Vitamin K cream like K-Derm Gel.

this is another use for heamarroid creams. they have vaso-constrictors in them so they shrink the broken vessels. i personally make a massage oil with fennel, juniper, carrot seed, black pepper and rosemary. it is very effective but you must be dilligent.
