Sort of a beauty question….would you spill your beauty secrets?

I wasn’t sure if this would fit into the beauty section so I put it here.

I work in retail and the other day I had a really crazy customer. Initially she was really nice, then when she found out we were sold out of an item she wanted she became mean and wanted to speak to a manager. Then when things seemed to be going her way she became nice agian. During this nice moment she asked me if I was married? I said yes assuming she saw my wedding ring. She gave me a weird look. I straight away assumed she was thinking I’m too young as the first comment I usually get is how old are you. So I quickly said ‘I’m 25’. She then said ‘oh, you look like your 17, what ever you are doing to your skin don’t stop. I said thanks. Then she again turned mean as it would take almost a week for the item she wanted to come in. So over all my experience with this customer was not nice. The issue could have been solved by being polite but it did make me wonder what would I have said to her if she had asked me what I did to my skin. Would you spill your skin secrets to others, or does it depend on who they are and if you like them?

When I was telling my husband about this lady he said I should have told her the secret is lots of lovin with my hot partner. My idea was to tell her I swollow raw eggs and see if she does it. Yep mean, but it shouldn’t harm her. Do you spill your skin secrets?

I agree pretty much, I would to my friends definitely cause it`s fun to compare notes and share, but only to people who deserve the secrets! Not that there are many, heehee. I generally get asked if I`m about 10 years OLDER than I am… I used to take it as a compliment but now getting older I`m not so sure! 🙂

And definitely hot loving and smiling (preferable both at the same time) are two keys to good skin! 🙂 xxxxx

As for spilling a beauty secret, certainly not to a rude customer, but to anybody else, why not, being asked is like a compliment, and I would always reply with a compliment back. That way 2 people have been made feel good about themselves.A great deed done is a wonderful feeling.

Oh scarlett, that was quite some customer you had there, ya poor darl. I cannot stand rude customers, I`m the straight forward type, and have always confronted rude customers with “”Having a bad day are we””, would not suggest saying this though, some of them yell, not pretty, but since I was in a higher position I wouldn`t take much crap at all.
