Shoe Box Of Love for QLD Flood Victims

My 17 year old daughter and her girlfriends are getting together next Wednesday to go shopping and get items to put into the shoeboxes. I am so thrilled that they want to do this for others who are in such need.

I am sure that they will get lots of pleasure choosing what to buy and are going to put in some treats such as makeup, lipgloss etc to hopefully put a smile on the recipients faces.

Speaking of “Shoe” boxes….. In terms of donations of clothing etc….. they were saying they have lots of clothing but need more shoes, underwear, socks etc. Other clothes they are O.K. for atm.

Also like is mentioned on that fb page. Toiletries, pet food and accessories, baby products etc are needed too.

In any situation monetary donations are well appreciated as this money can go towards the purchase of much needed items and repairs. And money can be easily accessed much quicker than some physical items.
