My empties this month are pretty simple.
I finished a bottle of The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, a tub of Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control moisturiser, and a can of Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce mousse. All staples, nothing fancy.
I picked up the Eucerin and the mousse from McGrocer when I was stocking up on tea and porridge oats. Saves me a trip, which is always nice.
The Eucerin one is a repeat buy for me. Keeps my oily skin under control without drying it out to a crisp.
What is everyone else using at the moment?

I felt this way about NIOD Survival 0. It doesn’t have any dramatic effect on my skin, but I notice that something inexplicably feels off, as though my skin is missing a balancing element when I’m not using it. It was one of the only products I used consistently for years, and I stopped for a couple of months. I can’t even say it was a lack of comfort exactly, but since bringing it back into my routine, it feels like it has normalised a baseline I didn’t realise I relied on.

It’s quite hard to test the results of a single product when we’re using a whole arsenal of products daily. Even rotating it in as the only new product makes it difficult to assess.

Yeah I guess it’s one of those things that are hard to assess. I still have another bottle of it. If you believe TO’s blurb, it’s meant to show visible improvement in terms of fine lines/wrinkles, radiance, skin regeneration.
I think I’m just at that age where skincare can only do so much. Whilst I have minimal wrinkles for my age, there’s not much that can help sagging/loss of firmness.

Yes I agree @Ethelinde. I’ve had a few products like that where I could see something missing only after I stopped using them.
I’ve added TO Volufiline recently at the end of my evening routine but spot treating only. Again, can’t tell the difference.
