sensitive skin?

i’ve been having trouble with acne for years and i recently realized that after cleansing my face was really red and after putting on moisturizer/ anti-blemish products my skin stung and was red for ages.
up until now i’d just thought that was the products working, but is it possible i’ve got sensitive skin?

what moisturizers would you recommend for me to try (sensitive, blemish prone)?

thanks guys =)

I`ve heard about bio-oil and i`m willing to give it a try, but i don`t get how putting oil on my oil will make it better =S

Yes melmeko! Mum has just started using Moo Goo and is swearing by it! I personal like using Palmers Cocoa Butter but nothing has been able to soothe Mum`s rough hands and dry skin. The Moo Goo is certainly starting to work magic. Another girl I know with bad acne has been using Bio Oil and it`s cleared up her skin!…Unbelievably! Worth a try with these two products Pretty Kitty.

I just sat a facial this morning using Artistry products, which are made from natural ingredients….felt deeeelightful but are expensive…The consultation was good though as it made me aware of why my skin is dry and oily in some areas and what types of moisturiser I`d need and when to apply…will let you know how the samples go.

It is very possible, pritty kitty, especially if you`ve been using acne medications for a while, that you have sensitive skin. I learnt the hard way. Unfortunately our skintype is hard to treat and it`s a case of trying lots of products until you get to something that suits you. Moisturisers are particularly hard. You might like to try the Cetaphil lotion, QV sunscreen/moisturiser, or what i`m using atm is the Nivea Sun Daily Face Veil.

Also, what are the other products in your routine? Using products with lots of chemicals can lead to sensitivity issues.
