just wondering what you all think is the best way to apply blush on an oval face, to make it look kind of smaller (my face)

Apply on the apples of your cheeks

try putting bronzer along the line of your jaw (just a little) and under your cheekbones. your haircut and eyebrows can also have an effect on how your face appears (long, straight hair makes faces look longer, cuts ending on the jaw emphasise the jawbone etc). maybe go to a beauty bar and ask about hair and brows. you could also try going to the makeup section of myer and asking the people there. they`re usually very helpful (especially if you buy their product!)

smile, then apply it diagonaly on your cheek bone where it is all puffy (when you smile your cheeks go puffy)
