Review Issues – Please Read

Hi beauties,

Many of you have communicated that you are experiencing issues when submitting reviews this week.

We have made the unfortunate decision to ask you all to stop submitting reviews until our dev team is able to fix the issues.

We understand the frustration you are all feeling when you put time and effort into writing lengthy and detailed reviews just to have them deleted when you attempt to submit. We don’t want any of you going through the hassle to write and submit reviews until we know for sure that everything is fixed.

If you are on a trial team that requires a review submitted soon, don’t worry! We have communicated this with Jess and you will not be penalised.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience. We know that bh has been terribly glitchy lately and we’re working so hard to get things back on track. Your patience is greatly appreciated and does not go unnoticed.

I will let you all know when we can start submitting reviews again.

    I have my Garnier Micellar Cleansing
    Water Delicate Eyes & Skin review on my page, I did it for my trial team review. I got an email saying that I didn’t do it?

    Hey there, I have submitted 5 reviews and none of them seem to be pending or submitted! Just wondering if that’s normal?

      Hi Kate
      Yes that is normal, if you have submitted reviews, first they say thankyou your review has been submitted, and if you go to the product, and scroll right down to the bottom, it will say “”Your review is currently pending”” which means BH have it and it will be published shortly and you will receive your points.

      I can jump in with an answer to that one, Kate. A lot of members have trouble if their image is too large. Reduce the image & try again.

    So glad I found this post. I posted a couple of reviews which haven’t been published and I couldn’t see them in pending. So it had me worried because I don’t save a copy.

    I thought I recalled seeing that as well shopa, wasn’t it the bonus points and to keep our eyes peeled for more surprises?
    Maybe the lucky ladies attending the BIB event will find out more =) perhaps there will be a sneaky surprise in store? =)

      Hi Amazeballs, yes I am sure I read it was weekly rewards/treats, so hopefully now the glitches are all fixed, it will be back to belated birthday week celebrations

    Before all the glitches with the website, I thought there was mention of nice things happening for the whole 4 weeks for the 11th birthday celebrations,

    Yes Please bring back the Pending reviews! It’s like a receipt/proof that you have submitted your review – especially important iwhen on a Trial

    Otherwise I’d prefer that you emailed it to Bh – which is a hassle and not feasible.

      I would also like the Pending review folder back, please!

      I just submitted a review after getting the OK & I can`t see anything in my pending folder either! I`ve kept a copy, but I even though I spell-check & edit before uploading, I often spot errors in my pending reviews.

        I know skincare junkie! I only found this out last weekend – who knew?

        I too thought it was so you could see you had submitted it and once published it went into your reviews – and now it’s gone!

    Hi Lauren, my 2 missing reviews have now been published so thank you!

    I am however missing the birthday bonus points for both reviews as they were submitted on 2 Sep. Additionally, 1 review didn’t receive the ‘first to review’ bonus 5 points.

    Appreciate if you could kindly look into this please. Thanking you in advance x

    Hi Lauren, my review for Nivea Pure & Natural Refreshing Cleansing Wipes, which I submitted on 28 Aug and I thought was lost in all the recent glitches, was finally published yesterday, but I was not awarded the bonus points for it. Could you please look into this?

      Thank you, Lauren. I`ve now been awarded the bonus birthday points, but I think I`ve been awarded extra points on top too. Not that I`m complaining, course, but I just wanted to ensure that it was all fair and kosher. 🙂

    Hi everyone,

    All the issues should be fixed! I have awarded all extra points and approved reviews from those of you that have written in this thread that yours weren’t approved yet.

    As for pending reviews, part of the site migration involved updating permissions meaning you will no longer be able to see your pending reviews.

      Hi Lauren
      Im assuming that means that once we have submitted we can’t reread, review or edit? I liked that I could submit but go back and change something or when I noticed I had a spelling error I could go back and fix it.

        I also liked seeing it in pending, as it sort of was like proof that yes I have written it and BH have it and will publish it soon

      And I`ve just submitted 1 review yesterday:
      1. Neutrogena Pore Refining Daily Cleanser
