Recommend me a cleanser…

I am in desperate need of a new cleanser. I wan’t one that cleanses thouroughly (because I wear colourstay makeup and its hard to get off) but not something too strong because it dries my skin out. Anyone have any suggestions? One that’s not ridiculously priced too…

bk glad to hear you liked my suggestion! It is fantastic – I`ll always go back to QV and Cetaphil for cheap, gentle cleansers!

Elmo I just tried the QV gentle cleanser… so far so good. My skin has been getting quite dry so I thought I`d give it a go. Takes my make-up off a treat! Thanks!!

Jurilque Purifying Foaming Cleanser, it`s amazing, a little bit more expensive, but it really does make a noticable differance

Depending on your skin type of course, but QV gentle cleanser is fantastic and a great bargain. However I also agree with what others have said – either cleanser twice (or exfoliate then cleanse) – or use a face towel to remove all makeup. I also use eye makeup remover first to get mascara etc off before washing my face.

Oops, sorry bk, it`s actually a Natural Insticts cleanser. You can get it from chemists and Priceline.

bk. you can use Cetaphil with or without water. I apply it using my hands to remove eye makeups, then blot it with tissues/cotton balls. Then I do it the 2nd time (double-celansing), washing it with water afterwards. Unfortunately the mild Cetaphil doesn`t remove suncream, so I have to use other cleanser to remove them. Heard that Cetaphil for oily skin is better than the mild one, it removes all makeups. Doesn`t agree with my skin though.

Thanks Bilywig93, I have heard Dr Lewinn`s is good but I`ve never actually tried it. And glossqueen, where do you get natural solutions? I haven`t heard of that one before. Melmeko, I think I`ve used neutrogena years ago, but not the foaming one.
Just wondering miakat and Whiterabbit11, with the Cetaphil do you rinse it off with water or is it one you just use cotton buds?

    Thanks guys :o)

i agree with miakat, cetaphil is the way to go. i haven`t tried the oily skin specific one, i just buy the normal one which we use for bathing baby. just slather it on and wipe everything off, it`s brilliant and leaves your skin soft and clean.

Natural solutions cream cleanser. It`s gentle, non drying and does a great job of removing make-up.
