I was thinking about giving Proactiv a try but I don`t think I will now as I`ve seen enough in thins forum to stop me from it. I never really believed that Jessica Simpson would use such a cheap product when she can affort more expensiv eproducts.

i use proactiv as well and my skin is pretty sensitive but it doesnt dry my face out. it cleared up my face and ive been using it for over 2 years now and if i don`t use it for a couple of days i break out again. but when i use it every day my skin is clear and smooth. Must just work for some people and not for others.

I was desperate and tried it a year ago. A year later and my skin is clear and the tone is glowing. Even most of black head scars have healed up. I have senstive skin. And I don`t find it dries my skin at all. My skin always feels really moisturised. I have there oil free moisturiser as well. And most times i hardly use it because i don`t need to. I think it depends on your skin. Its like AVon face products I have tried so many of them and they burn and redden my skin. Even Estee Lauder made my skin red and dry. and Loreal products gave me a severe reaction. I think with proactiv but if you get slack and don`t use the 3 steps each time you cleanse your skin won`t clear up or feel `right` you need to use the complete 3 steps each time. And just a hint. If you do use it and like it. And your like me and run out of the cleanser before your run out of everything else. Look on Ebay you can often pick up just a bottle of cleanser cheaply…

i dont think its such a great product anymore since it varies greatly on your skin type and such.

At least you know that if it doesnt work for you that you can send it back and get your money back….other acne treatments dont have that sort of guarantee. So I suppose if you did try it and it didnt work for you or made your skin dry you havent really lost anything other than the postage cost which is alot cheaper than going out and buying the acne range from clearasil/clean and clear/neutrogena and having these not work either….then your stuck with them.
