Philosopy shower gels

Hey I’ve heard of this Philosophy brand before, I think Oprah loves one of their creams or something 🙂

You’re right, Oprah has been using the ‘Hope in a Jar’ moisturiser for years. She loves it and has often given it away on her ‘My favourite things” shows. I think Philosophy first started with their awesome shower gels and body products, then moved to skin care and makeup. x

I was under the impression that skinstore won’t ship Philosophy shower gels to Australia, have you managed to place an order?

Fair enough roxy…I guess we are even!! I’ll let you know what I choose and if I get some different ones to what you have we could possibly do a decant swap if you are interested in trying some of the ones I have and vice versa.

Yes, Mecca sells Philosophy but they won’t have the entire range. Happy to do a swap any time. x

now im laughing at beautystar going over the limit of the buying.. isnt that the automatic side effect of being on BH ? 😛
i love al lthe fruit type scents and also anything with spice / cinnamon.

Yep, that’s the problem with being on BH, Nat. We all go a little nuts and get tempted so easily!

Thanks Roxy…I was hoping you’d see this thread as i know you have used them before. Mimosa did catch my eye as i thought that it would smell like orange blossum, which to me is not that citrussy but then i read some reviews and people were describing it as champagne and orange juice – which i think is a cocktail called mimosa – so then i got worried thats what it would smell like rather than orange blossum.

I do have a bone to pick with you though – why the hell did you have to tll me about the scrubs??? I currently have 9 shower gels in my trolley that need culling…now i am about to add scrubs back in!! Bloody BH forum…!!!

Yes, well it wasn’t fair that you reminded me about the skinstore special at present. I had deleted the email I got from them because I am reigning in my spending and didn’t realise that they sold Philosophy!!!!!!

Mimosa is a cocktail made from champagne and orange juice but I can assure you the scent is very soft and lovely. I am a bit obsessed with body products and have a bag full of shower gels (including Philosophy), scrubs and body butters that are waiting to be used. At least they don’t have a use by date, lol!

I had to tell you about the scrubs because they are fabulous and you may as well try one if you can get a good price! Don’t forget to tell us what you decided to order. xx
