Palmer’s skin care range

Yep – they’ve got a whole new range of skincare (face) products – which is what we were discussing here!

I hated the body one – I thought it really stank, and gave an orange tan, not a golden one. Can’t recommend it at all. But I am fair skinned, and I have heard from olive skinned girls that they loved it.

i meant the body one, is it good or just so-so average? i wasnt aware there was a new facial one

I’ve tried the body gradual tanner – did you mean that one or the new face one?

ha slinki i havent tried those products.ive never used anything palmers but i love the smell of the cocoa butter range.has anyone tried the gradual tanning moisturiser?

Has anyone tried/used Palmers Firming Butter, or the Bust Firming Cream? I just noticed the Bust Firming Cream in a pharmacy recently – I never knew it existed before then. Be nice if it actually worked, since breastfeeding tends to leave me looking like I’ve got a pair of deflated balloons instead of a decent decolletage’!!

Anything with Cetostearyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol or cetylstearyl alcohol aren’t what you think – it’s not alcohol in the sense that it’s harsh and drying – these give emolience to any product they’re in, so don’t worry about them. I haven’t seen the products though – will head up and have a look today!

yeahim a bit unsure cos i looked briefly at the back of the pack on all the products and noticed that the ingredients list is a bit too long with lots of differently named alcohol..this worries me
