oily eyelids !

does anyone know how to fix this problem? i dont use eye creams and i have dry/normal skin. on hot days my mascara smudges and i just got a waterproof eyeliner which stays on but with one accidental touch of the eye it slides off. recommendations of translucent powders/eye primers would be great!:)

I just purchased a product called Becca eye tint, which provides a wash of colour over lids and has a mattifying/priming sort of effect. Has a very slight tawny brown colour and is designed really to have eyeshadow layered over it. I don`t have an issue with oily lids, although my skin can get oily…but think that this product could help (Becca is sold at Myer so perhaps one of the ladies there could try some out on you to see how you go)

I have the same problem (although possibly to a slightly lesser extent). I always make sure not even to get normal face moisturiser or primer on my eyelids, and I find that by applying the mineral powder foundation I have to my eyelids, my make up stays on better. Also, I never put mascara on my lower lashes, or put eyeliner underneath my eye except for the outside corner (otherwise I tend to end up looking like I have black eyes!!)

You can do a oil removing mask 1 -3 times a week to help remove excess oil from your skin which might b of help.

JR minerals have an eyelid primer (powder), which I use and find it fantastic. It is available in different sizes. They have a website http://www.jrminerals.com.au.
