Milk issues

Heya,
I really struggle to get my son to drink milk. He refuses to use a bottle and barely drinks any when its in a cup or sippicup. Does he need heaps if he is happy to eat cheese and eat cereal with milk on it?

Thanks so much everyone. Great advice. He is 15 months old, hates yogurt and plain milk. I use chocolate milk but he doesnt drink much. But i suppose he is getting enough from his diet, Im probably just a worriwort. LOL

I tend to bribe my son with a little bit of milo in his milk and he totally scoff`s it. Also those little pop tops from Woolies called Calci M(or something like that) are really great for kids. I always treat my son to one of those when he`s in his pram and we go over to town.

my daughter won`t drink milk from a bottle or cup either. as GG stated is that just make sure you are getting plenty of calcium from other sources like cheese, yoghurt and vegetables. Perhaps flavour the milk. My daughter loves babycino`s when we go out with some chocolate sprinkles on top.

Lots of kids don`t like milk -but so long as he is getting enough calcium from other sources he should be fine – will he have a fruit smoothie? Easy to make at home – I usually mush a banana with a bit of cinnamon and honey and blend that up with milk and/or yogurt – my kids love it. But if he is happily eating cheese and having milk on his cereal I wouldn`t worry too much, maybe offer him some yogurt for variety? And don`t forget lots of vegies have calcium (usually leafy green vegies)
