Looking for a foundation with great coverage but doesn’t cause blemishes!!!

Okay, I need a really good foundation that’s going to cover my horrible skin, all the acne scarring and freckles etc. I want something that doesn’t cause blemishes or make them worse. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I see girls out there with awesome foundation but mine just doesn’t cut it.

I would recommend Lucy Minerals as well. The price is very reasonable and the coverage is great. The owner of the company has pics of her skin before and after on the website so that should give you an idea. I have never found it to cause breakouts or irritate my skin and I really like the coverage. I use a primer underneath but if you skin is quite oily you might not need to bother. 🙂

I have been using Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation for the past few months, and I really like it! It’s light, creamy, with good coverage. It’s oil-free and non occulsive (supposed to not break you out – I just checked and seems to be the same as non-comedogenic).

I don’t have acne now, but have been on Roaccutane twice so my skin is still easily irritated. I mix this foundation with Avene moisturiser for everyday, and I really like it! Gives good coverage without feeling heavy. Smells good too! Best to buy on sale though, is a little exxy for a ‘drugstore’ foundation.

Okay, recently I went to Vancouver and there I bought Clinique’s Acne Solution Foundation, maybe you can find it by the name Clinique Anti-blemish Solutions Foundation, This Foundation promotes a good coverage and also helps to recover the skin, I have acne prone skin, and I love it!!!

Hi Healthywealthy I really like Revlon Colourstay (in the oily/combination formula) to keep my skin matt and cover any blemishes. If you prefer a mineral foundation Inika is fabulous!! They have a wide range of colours to match every skin tone and I find it really easy to blend and provide an even finish.

One of the YouTube channels I subscribe to (Glintzy) has a lot of acne and scarring – she swears by Revlon Colourstay and Almay TLC foundations. If you check her channel out, she does tutorials on how to apply both foundations, and how to best cover acne using both foundation and concealer. I love watching her, because unlike a lot of YT gurus, she doesn’t have perfect skin to start with.

Mineral foundations – (well the two I use anyhow) – are great on pimple breakouts – they are lovely and effective and can be built up for a heavier coverage of current blemishes or applied really lightly for a more soft, natural effect. I find Kylie’s Professional Makeup absolutely awesome for both colour and healing of blemishes. I also find Lucys Mineral makeup beautiful too – especially for a perfect summer colour.

I like, Rimmel – Renew and lift.

it covers really well. but its pretty light to rub in.
and it comes in a little glass tube with a pumpy thing on top.
( i just like that for convenience)

maybe go into target and try out a test patch just to see how you like it

    xoxo

Definitely a mineral powder foundation, they are lightweight and can be built up for better coverage 🙂
